Short-Term Rental Agreement
This Short-Term Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between the property owner or manager (“Host”) and the individual(s) renting the property (“Guest”). By booking and occupying the property, the Guest agrees to the following terms:
1. Rental Term
The Guest is entitled to occupy the property only for the dates confirmed at the time of booking. Check-in and check-out times will be as stated in the booking confirmation.
2. Payment
The total rental fee must be paid in full prior to arrival. All charges, fees, and taxes associated with the rental are the responsibility of the Guest.
3. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit may be required. The deposit will be returned within a reasonable time after check-out, provided the property is left in good condition and no violations of this Agreement have occurred.
4. Occupancy
The maximum number of guests allowed on the property is limited to the number specified in the booking. Additional overnight visitors are not permitted without prior approval from the Host.
5. House Rules
Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
Pets are only allowed if expressly approved in advance.
Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
Fires and grills may only be used in designated areas.
Guest agrees to follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by the Host.
6. Guest Responsibilities
Guest agrees to maintain the property in good, clean condition, to report any damages, and to comply with all local laws and regulations. Any costs for damage, excessive cleaning, or rule violations may be deducted from the security deposit.
7. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and refunds are subject to the policy in place at the time of booking.
8. Liability
The Host is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises. The Guest assumes full responsibility for their safety and for the safety of anyone they allow onto the property during the rental period.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state or region where the property is located.
By confirming a reservation, the Guest acknowledges and accepts all terms of this Short-Term Rental Agreement.
